The SH61’s adjustable torque control enables gentle and energy-efficient motor operation. It also features functions for bypass control and the detection of overloads and underloads.
The new soft starter model also features the Modbus Serial communication protocol ex-works, enabling it to forward valuable data on power consumption to higher-level software systems.
Communication: Fieldbus protocols such as Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, Profibus, Profinet, or CANOpen can be retrofitted.
With this level of connectivity, soft starters such as the SH61 are an important component for increasing the visibility of energy consumption in a digitally networked automation architecture.
